Hi everyone, this is my first attempt at placing an entry on my very first blog. Up untill about 5 years ago I had no real experience with using computers let alone the inernet. Recently After being accepted at University I have learnt how to do internet searces, use different windows software and send e-mails, text etc. I have no experience using facebook or any of the other personal web sites and only rely on e-mail and mobile phones as a way of communicating with modern technology.
Today in our first lecture the class discused our own experience with modern communication technology including youtube, e-commerce, facebook etc. We also discussed definitions of communication and technology.
I am looking forward to enhancing my knowledge in an area which I am relatively niave and discuss the critical inmplications of current and future communication technologies.
